The GHS Girls JV Basketball Team took 3rd Place at the 2011 Livermore JV Tournament (Dec. 8-10, 2011), with WINs over St. Mary's (Stockton) (47-25) and Aragon (32-19).

The GHS Girls JV Basketball Team earned the Consolation Championship by winning 2 of their 3 games in the GHS JV Tournament Dec. 2-4, 2010.  All Tournament Selections included Rebecca Bernstein, Nikke Lutz and Hannah Mata.

The GHS Varsity Girls Basketball Team won their season opener against Liberty H.S. (44-42).  McKenna Daly was high scorer for the game with 18.

Three GHS Varsity Girls Basketball players have been chosen to be part of the 2010 East Bay All-Star Classic Tournament.  Playing for the "Tri-Valley Area" team are:

     *  Ryane Ortiz, Kyla Schnitter, Paige Zollinger

The Tri-Valley team is being led by GHS coaches John Radecke and Steve Martinez
