"In his first NCS meet, Silverthorn broke a section record in the 200 freestyle in 1:37.83, and nearly broke another while topping a talented field in the 500 free in 4:26.15.  He was a major factor in Granada's 2nd-place team finish, as he also contributed to 2 relay squads that had top-five finishes."
