GHS Highlights

"For the first time in school history, the Granada girls golf team beat Amador Valley last week.  Not only was the 190 the Matadors posted at Las Positas the first sub-200 round in school history, but it was the third-lowest score in EBAL history.  Led by returning all-league performer Marguerite Swearingen, the Mats look like contenders for the EBAL title.  If there was a favorite for coach of the year honors, Mats coach Tim Rankin would be the early leader."  The Valley Times - 9/23/09
